Concise description:
  • what if you could do a teamates turn if they have 6 hours or less before the turn end

Specifics:
  • any one in the team so 1-3 people can do there teamates turn

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • faster game
  • fair play

do you mean something like babysitting, which is already in the rules? or are you talking about something else?-0

p.s.-you aren't a deadbeat until you miss 3 consecutive turns.

I think he means that you can login to their account, and take the turn in the game that you're playing with them, using your password.

seems to me this would make account-sitting abuse easier, rather than harder.....

The idea isn't a bad one...but it would be too easily abused and could be used to impersonate someone else (an account sitter is trustworthy, a teammate doesn't have to be). When you join a team game you should make sure your teammate isn't going to deadbeat on you, by arranging a team game with someone you've played before; or someone you know etc.

You wouldn't be able to do ANYTHING on their account except take the turn, no chatting, forum posting, PM'ing, other turns, only the team game that they're playing in
