"Spoils" ?
Come on guys . . .
You can do better than that . . .
Here's some ideas - you can compensate me later ;)

Token - Tokens: Redeem your Tokens
Reward - Rewards: Redeem your Rewards
Chip - Chips: Redeem your Chips

Even better - Add the word "Battle" or "Victory" before any of those since you have to win at least 1 battle before you can get 1 . . .

Battle Token - Victory Token
Battle Reward - Victory Reward
Battle Chip - Victory Chip

For what it's worth I actually quite like 'spoils' ...
Has no-one ever heard of the Spoils of War ?
[Apologies for the slightly lame wikipedia article.]

Just because 'spoils' isn't in your vocabulary doesn't mean there's something wrong with it. Look it up and you'll see that it's definitely more suitable than 'token', 'reward' or 'chip'.

Since we seem to be in the midst of a 'make over' here at Conquer Club it would seem a good idea to take the opportunity to take this further:
"Red Spoils", "Green Spoils" and "Blue Spoils" don't really mean anything. Can we come up with a better set? [Although perhaps they should retain some kind of colour coding as well.]

How about "Arms", "Prisoners" and "Natural Resources"? Still collectively known as "Spoils" of course.

We could make them represent infantry, cavalry and artillery. That way you'll have another clue about which ones are the best to have. And it's a completely original idea.

You what?

The board game has them as Infantry, Cavalry & Artillery - the fact that they are colours is the original idea here!

How about "resupply troops" intead of -spoils- ...and that would pretty much cover what they really are.

While some of the new terms are better in some ways...the -spoils- has to go ! Same with the map design. But you gotta give props to the Foundry Crew for at least cobbling something together to salvage current ongoing games. Now let's see them turn out something better to replace the eyesore we are now having to use !

Semper Fi...death to all terrorists !

"Pillagings" Maybe? ...

but seriously,

Battle weapons might even work. Changes the idea of cards fundamentally.

Or something similar. You gain Battle intelligence, weapons, technology...all that add up to an improved attack in the future.

If you wanted to spend another month coding, it could be changed per map to give a nice touch.

and since i was fast posted, just supplies works even better. again, fundamentally different then the silly cards of that other dumb game.

"MrBenn gets spoils" has a certain charm (?) to it...

I can't get my head around cashing in a 'group' of spoils... surely the collective noun for spoils is simply more spoils?

Talking about having a 'group' doesn't sound right either - a group is just a number of things considered together, whereas a set refers to a collection of objects classified according to a given rule... Definitions aside, it's easier to talk about having a set than having a group...

But seriously. They patented Cards? Wow...

Spoils def. has to go. Resupply troops I like.

Red Resupply troops, Green Resupply Troops and Blue Ressuply troops, sounds best to me.

You can find in any stores to bye any kind of cards, and every body call then cards, even you have tons of board games when you use cards, and i think that word card is old for 200-300 years. How can someon have right to use words who is so much old :?
