when sweeping through territories in a game, why not let armies from a newly adjacent territory join the bigger army...?

2.1 example...

I own all of Australia and S. Africa and have 10 armies each on W. Australia and S. Africa, I cash in and add 20 armies to W. Australia, I attack and take Australian Claim and then Norwegian Claim, why not let those 9 extra armies on S. Africa add to my total on Norwegian Claim, merge them with the bigger army during the turn and then continue the turn...? kinda like if you take someone out and get their cards and have to cash in...

The original game was played this way, thus it should stay

however, you are able to move armies to a territory that you conquer

yeah, but only from one territory, like in my example, if i have 10 armies on S. Africa and conquer Norwegian Claim from Australian Claim, I can only move the available armies from Australian Claim to Norwegian Claim, I don't get to merge the 9 available armies in S. Africa into the newly conquered territory as well until I end my attacks and fortify, I'm talking about in turn merging of two separate big armies that become adjacent during the turn...

Baddd idea. It takes away from the skillful planning out and strategy of games. Instead you're suggesting that you need not care about deployments in specific areas... it would absolutely RUIN escalating games, namely standard. It would also be very hard to do in freestyle games.
