Team Acceptance
Posted: Sat Aug 30, 2008 4:12 pm- Nothing is more frustrating than signing onto and looking forward to a competitive team game than to have a lower-rated and less-experienced player join your team, at the last minute, and make the game less competitive and interesting.
- Maybe a final acceptance step could be afforded all players before the game commences. Less experienced players would have the same opportunity to opt out if, in the end, a ringer joins the other team, making the game unfair.
- This would, likely, encourage players to add their name to pending games, which teams are not already decided, and reduce the number of games in waiting with 2 or 3 players in Doubles and Triples games, respectively.
