Troop Deployment at start of game

I'm Sure this has been suggested before, although i didn't see it.
Concise description:- Troop Deployment at start of game
Specifics:- It would appear that at the start of the game you don't get to place your armies when you want, there just spread out evenly throughout your countries, I would like to be able to pick where those armies go, like in a real game of risk. Or at least make it an option.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:- by making the games more like the official rules of the board game.

We sure dont want to be more as risk. That product is copyrighted. What Lack want to do is to create something similar but which not busts his coconuts.
Good idea, but i dont want this site to be putted out of bussnies.

This has been suggested before. It would be impractical in casual games, so I have an idea. What if you can't attack the first round, but all fortifications are "teleporting" that round. That means it's like unlimited, but the territories don't have to be connected. And as an option, maybe you can't see other people's forts until round 2. (That seems like it would make it more fair, but I don't think it would be good, personally, because then 3 people might put everything on South America, but only one person goes for Australia.)

That option would be nice, but the way to implement it can largely vary from person to person and the last that explained how wouldn't make sense in fog war games. It could ruin games. This play mode exists in risk because we are fogless and all alert and playing.
Implementing this in CC would take ages to start a game if it was turn based droppings.
So i have to disagree...

In the idea decided the only way it would work is if it happened at the very beginning of a game for 1 round they have X units to deploy then the round begins. (Without viewing opponents units) It means you would have to be moderate throughout all continents not to get wiped out.

Im sure this has been rejected before and suggested but i don't know why:S.
Concise description:- Let all our terretories start as 1. not 3.
- Since we get 2 menn from each terretorie removed, we can deploy them wherever we want.
- Make the first round to be Deploy only phase. When all has deployed then the battle begin.
Specifics:- Lets say you start with 3 terretories on the first round then they start with 1 army each. That gives you 6 armies to deploy anywhere you want. Now this is the first round and you cant attack after you deployed you need to wait for the other players to finish their deploy turn.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:- More Fun, More Options, More Me!
- Gameplay, we need gameplays!

Why only in freestyle? This is most valid for sequential. Specially in 8 player games.

Cause then you still would be elimnated in the first round;).
During freestyle you can easly deffend yourself.

Excuse me, I don't understand. Are you suggesting this to only apply to Freestyle, or not to apply to Freestyle?

But if the first round is only deploy phase, it can also apply to sequential, and give the 8th player much more chances to survive the first turn.

Now consider, that your playing 1vs1...then the first player has the adventage i think.
Or you might have right since both players start off with the same army. hmm.

Unless someone gets a continent bonus (I got Australlia and Europe once on a 1v1, I finished it in two turns)

Hmm i think i got lost in my suggestion but as i said there should be one round with deploying only. So it dont make sense that one player should have a continent bonus. Then player 2 can end easly. Since no one can attack anything before every1 have deployd.
