form added:

Concise description:
  • In speed doubles games where your partner "no shows" points should be lost only by the "no show" partner.

Specifics:
  • See above.

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • The innocent partner who does turn up will not lose rank and points where the other partner "no shows".

in my original post I wrote:I was in a doubles game and my partner(celeryuk) did not even show up for the first round in a speed game, after the three missed turns all his territories did become mine however i soon realized i was in more trouble now than i was before because being on round three with no back up to this point i was stretched very thin taking on two hostiles, naturally they took advantage, what surprises me is to make it even more impossible they get too play back to back, I was at least expecting to play in between there rounds, i really think that would be in lieu of a two on one battle, and then I lose a rank and points because one player does not show, in my opinion the Admin or Higher should adjust the player who is not at fault back to the rating prior to the game of question, and any points awarded should only and solely be drawn from the "No Show"......Like c'mon, it was a speed game that player entered within a five minute window to play, I admit i did not research that players rating prior to game and now that i have looked it would appear that this may be a pattern with this person, Thank you for reading and take care!!

Whilst I do share your pain evilweasel it is firm CC policy not to restore points because this can corrupt game and score data.

Ratings and your Foe list are your best friends here ...

that's understandable, well then only drawing points away from the No Show would be a great remedy and changing order of play when that happens that would provide more balance to a lop sided game.........

I like that emphasis better ... yeah.

How about you edit your first post and insert the form below above the existing text, complete it appropriately focussing on that point and noting the post appropriately to show it was edited after the event ...

I really wish i knew how to do this for ya, I even got my girl friend to try and figure out how to edit and then add it to the form you provided, I not to computer smart just know how to play and i am not even that good at that, If this is a deal breaker i understand, i glad somebody else at least knows of the problem and hopefully in the future somebody else might be able to help rectify the problem....thanks again
