Concise description:
In the forums, after quoting someone, the quote contains a link to the actual text.
Specifics:
For example, what I'm typing right now, someone may quote. Under their post, it says something in teh quote bubble like "FabledIntegral said..." in bold followed by this text. With this change implemented, there would be a little button or link that when clicked, would take the user to the original post.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
Very handy to see
1. When the person said it
2. What other replies have been said since
3. Saves time fishing for the original post
4. Allows users to see what the original text was when someone quotes, then changes the text so it appears the person said something else.
I've been on other sites that have this, and it's used surprisingly more than one would think, especially when people quote things said pages back, or when people quote things said a long time ago and you THINK that they are quoting something said recently.
