Complete Unfairness NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED

im just pointing out a complete chance for abuse in an AoR game.
ive just finished a dubs AoR: Magic, Game 2389484
heres what happened:
we (me and my partner) we going along fine and doing well, one apposing player was deadbeating while the other (yellow) was getting a few armies per turn, doing fine, collecting a resource pair and a few villages, blue(his partner) deadbeated! kicked for missing too many turns. yellow got all of his terits, as usual in a team game
BUT
he got an emormous bonus from his partner deadbeating, it was completely unfair. he went from getting 10armies per turn, to 60!
this took me and my partner by complete suprise, and added a completely unfair advantage to the other team, this cost us our game.
this is at great risk to abuse, whether its planned or not.

this needs to be addressed

i dont know what the solution is, suggestions will help
maybe just not give the other terits to the partner i dont know.

p.s. this may be a problem on other maps, AoR: Magic is just one i picked up on.

also i didnt use the form coz this aint a suggestion, just something to help people make suggestions on how to fix this unfairness
----
a tacktic could be in the future, to just get both players to play and get a resouce pair and a village, then one deadbeats and leaves the other with a massive suprise attack army!
ABUSE!

I was t-o-m's partner in this game and it was looking like an easy win playing 2v1.

I was expecting to see yellow deploy 10 armies just like last turn and I had like an 8 defense on the border so i figured he was gonna be like 11v8 and all of a sudden he whips out this massive army and steamrolls me, taking 2 villages, a castle, and breaking 2 resource pairs, very not cool

i hate to say this but it's common knowledge that deadbeat partners donate their terits. normally in 2v2 if a guy starts deadbeating you should act fast and kill them. take advantage one of the guys is inactive. ;)

its also not uncommon on aor for someone to get a 10 bonus on 1 turn and a 60 bonus on the next, even without a deadbeat partner. its part of the way the map works with the stackable bonuses.

i dont mind if its good stratigy,
but just when some1 deadbeats its annoying coz it gives a major unfairness to the map

yea, i still think it needs addressing though, its hardly fair that (now i know what'll happen) that others may not and may loose just because they dont know

It's a feature not a bug :)

Some maps lend themselves to team games better than others and AoR might not be a good one because of the deadbeat factor.

With any game, you have to calculate and adjust for all possibilities and this is one of them.

I think DiM is right, the best way to move is to take out the soon to be deadbeater.

If you think this is something that yellow and blue do on a regular basis, you may have a case against them, but it would be a shaky one at best.

ino :) i was just hoping that some1 might sugest something that could stop it :)

with fog on though...
and you dont expect someone to deadbeat, and if you go and see them to wipe them out theres a chance that they could use defered armies against you on the next round,
plus i dont really see why us, the 'victims', should have to do something, its annoying as it ruins the game and the game fun.
what can i do leave neg feedback? would that be valid?

i dont know, i dont think so. ill go check their game history and get back here...

EDIT:
they've got 16 games together under their belt, i think thats fine coz theyre mostly speed and AoR: Magic, so they prolly play that a lot.
only one dubs in there, so i dont see that as a problem.
just an unluckey coincidense :(
-
but i do think this needs seeing to...do you or...?
poll?
or is there nothing we can do?

to be honest if it did change, it would be way low on the priority list and wouldn't happen any time soon

I really think you just need to pay attention. Nothing I see needs to be addressed.
