Flaw of (this interpretation of) PHPBB3

I am not filling a form, because it is a minor issue and I just want to see how many more people is pissed with this feature...

On entire forum page you can't find peoples nicks which are NOT links!
(Every post has two instances of author's nick. One of them is a link to profile - which is good, but the other one is also a link to the same page - which is not only redundant, but directly bad)

Why is it a problem?

Because you can't double-click someone's nick to copy it.

Why is copying needed?

Mainly for quoting.
When you want to quote small or moderate part of someone's long post and/or want to make post with two or more quotes... ...do you use a quote button?
Of course not! You make blanc quotes manually, copy/past needed parts of text and copy/past posters' nicks.

Well, it isn't possible anymore (or at least I don't see how). You have to right-click nick, open a player's profile and then double-click and copy it. (or worse yet - write it manually )

And we have one issue more
When you paste someone's nick to Game Finder, you get two blanc characters on the end (if you've copied nick from profile). Linking all visible instances of all nick names is a matter of choice, but this blanc characters really could be a (local) bug...

I know that you're disappointed, but that's all... Come on, flame on me! :)

I agree it is (very) mildly annoying, but it definitely doesn't warrant this long of a post.

Well of course we're not going to flame you because this is B&S not FW ... but that doesn't mean a  isn't in order ...

Personally - in this instance - I did use the 'quote' button. Two click-drag-delete maneuvers later and I've cropped everything out except what I wanted ...

Alternatively - when constructing a manual quote - click-drag to select the name text followed by a ctrl-c and you're ready to go ...

Finally of course, since you're not posting a form and not making a suggestion or reporting a bug, you should have posted in General Discussion anyway .

Like you say not really worth the time of posting about, but that didn't stop me either ;).

Remember to enjoy what is good :).
