Concise description:
- Create a whole new section of the site for New Recruits - Privates
- This section of the site should have 'Tutorial Games'
Specifics:
- Many people complain about noobs, whether it is because of chronic deadbeating or just plain lack of strategy. These people are hammered relentlessly in the forums and in feedbacks. If a noob takes the time to browse through the forum, he/she sees all these abusive comments about noobs, its odds on that that noob wont join CC.
- I suggest that a new section of the site should be created for your average noob, with different games on different maps with different settings available... AKA scenarios. These scenarios would teach the average noob the basics of CC strategy, the difference between chained and unlimited, and how to play your cards right.
To be fully effective, however, we have to resserect the idea of AI players. (The AI would only function in this special area of the site) I shudder to think of the programming involved BUT if this site is going to continue to grow at its current rate (if not better) we need to lower the level of animosity towards Mr/Mrs Noob.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
- This would lower the level of antagonism towards noobs because they would have a basic grasp of CC concepts before they test themselves against the rest of us.
- Noobs will be HAPPIER. There are so many god damned options on this site that when i first joined i was thinking, "How the duck am I supposed to play all this?" The variety of options on this site IS confusing to your average noob.
