Objective Games
I was thinking...
A game where each players starts off with 1 territory and they are all aiming to own a territory (the objective) They could a) hunt blindly. or b) there could be hints e.g. (to the left/right/down/up) (obviously you wouldn't be starting on the territory...

what do you think?
It could give the game another way of playing it!

Seems like a total crapshoot on the lines of assassin freestyle on Doodle Earth. Wouldn't be that good a game mode besides.

It could be if the map was well designed. There was a similar idea a while back, where the map would change with each playing, so that the initial positions and the requirement to win was different.
This would really need a new map though, to add the objective.

I agree with hecter. If CC'ers make more maps similar to the Age of Realms maps, then we'll be playing with objective maps more often.

A couple of Objective Directed Maps are in development in the Foundry:

Das Schloss
Operation Drug War
Arms Race!
AOR: Age of Mayhem

I was going to create a thread about this but as this is somewhat near i will post here.

I believe adding a type of game where you have objectives. It would be random, some examples of them would be:

Conquer South America and Europe.

Have at least 18 terriories with at least 2 armies in each.

Own 24 or more territories.

Kill Red, if red is killed by another person your objective will be owning 24 or more territories.

These are a few examples or objectives there could. Off course it would be necessary to have these at the start of the turn.

It would add a very interesting new way of playing. It would also make people think more before doing things as they dont know what kind of objective the enemies could have.
