SUGGESTION: Positive and negs count = confusing...

...to the new guys?
For a quick while, I thought it meant GAME WON vs GAME LOST.
Joined a couple games only to find out that the ones with "losses", were simply asses.

When I see people with so many negs starting/hosting games and mostly newbs/low ranks (or other asses) join their games, it makes me wonder how many new visitors/players get a BAD FIRST IMPRESSION of this site and perhaps leave?

Not quite sure but this might be sonething to check after in the future.
Maybe simply add the + and - symbols besides the numbers?

Hopefully I make sense

Same here, I do browse around before jumping in.
But by the question most ask around forums, its easy to imagine that most might not browse around first.

I did browse and still thought on my first two games or so that it meant wins/losses.

I got my mom to join and the first question she asked me on the phone was, "is that how many games you have won?" ha ha, I had to tell her like 5 times to just read the directions =D>
I don't know if this really happens alot or not but there is my story.

Does it really matter? Some folks will be confused by any system. All one has to do, though is read the instructions or click on profiles to see what the numbers mean.... or ask.

That will be true even if a change is made. But, personally, I care more about feedback than wins and losses. The ranks more or less speak to that directly.
