Map Archive Sub-Forum

Suggestion Idea: Creating a forum in the Foundry for maps now in live play.

Specifics: Creating a sub-forum within the Foundry titled "Archived Maps" or something similar and moving map threads from the "Final Forge" forum for those maps who are now on the site for live play.

Why it is needed: It would allow the "Final Forge" forum to be less cluttered with maps that aren't in the Final Forge/Quenched stage of development any more. Also, several of the threads that are marked 'Quenched' are no longer as they have been added to the site for live play.

~The same could also be done for maps that have been abandoned~

I like this idea.

Aren't all Final Forge maps stickied if they're not Quenched? I can understand archiving abandoned maps in the hopes that somebody sees it and does it the right way, but archiving Quenched maps would be an unnecessary additional workload considering that you can tell Final Forge from Quenched as it is right now.

not many maps get quenched and it really only takes a second or two to move a topic

it seems like a great idea

TBH - I think it's fairly superfluous...

In the Final Forge there are
a) Stickies - These maps are Forged but not Quenched.
b) Non Stickied - These maps are Quenched...

There is a *small* delay between Quench and Live Play... but that is fairly immaterial.

Thinking over this again, probably the only thing need to really do is change the thread from [quenched] to [on site] or something similar.

This idea would probably be better suited for maps that have been abandoned.
