trading cards...

i think i posted this originally in the wrong section...
but i have come across this situation a few times now. when you eliminate a player and end up with more than 5 cards you can trade them, thats cool as its in the rules
BUT...
you can trade more than one set at a time, which i think is wrong... (with the obvious exception of having 8+ cards as a result of eliminating a player)
if you have 6/7 cards... you should only be allowed to turn in one set, so you are below the limit of 5.
is there any reason this isnt the case?
