I have been thinking about this for a while now and was thinking of setting up a ((or having set up)) a tournament including multiple maps and then thought there are some people who may like this as a default option.
What I am proposing is the ability for the server to have set "Campaign" maps, since we currently have one map that could easily be used for demonstartion purposes I will use it.
Say The Campaign is to be the World Campaign, the Game starts with a number of players = (4-8 ) * 6 or 24 - 48 players. Each player is assigned a default number between 1 - 6 and is thus assigned one of the 6 maps that comprise the Bonus areas of a standard World Map.
So players would start on each of these maps once this finishes the map then changes and the winners of each of the 6 maps are thrown into the World Map, all starting with their won Country, Bonus areas would all be standardized so that the people getting stuck with Australia and SA wouldn't get beaten down by those who held Asia, Europe and NA. ((I'll say 5 bonus for numbers sake))
This could eventually be done with the WWII maps to create a WWII Campaign so we would have Eastern Front, Western Front, and Then European Theater.
Games could easily be set up for other maps as well, say setting up an Age of Realms campaign.
This would also I think spur some people to come up with smaller maps that link together to create their own campaigns. Heck a universe map would even be doable where you all start on different planets and eventually end in the space map.
