Game Statistics

Postby geniusxboy on Thu Dec 20, 2007 12:52 pm

Hey! I have an awesome and simple suggestion.

Can we add a counter in individual games?

The counters will simply add:
1. Number of army-kills per player
2. Number of armies lost per player

Sometimes I'd like to know how many armies were lost trying to attack me. Sometimes I'd like to know how many armies I killed altogether in a game.

Also...
Easily manipulated but funny to see...you can add a counter to each member's profile that lists how many armies they have killed in their whole career. ... and how many they lost if they are a super sucky player.

Just a suggestion ^_^

ARMY and TERRITORY COUNTER

Postby Sychamore on Thu Dec 20, 2007 11:23 pm

This was edited from it's original version after reading suggestion rules...

I agree with the suggestion with the KILL COUNTER, but
I think more importantly, and maybe this is something that was designed NOT to be shown, is:

1. NUMBER OF TERRITORIES HELD
2. NUMBER OF ARMIES IN COMMAND

List the above for all the players involved in the game after each turn is taken.

I realize this can be done by counting them manually, but consider this...
It would speed games up by allowing players to quickly glance at the counter and see the strong and weak players in that round, and evaluate there position. I think it would make for a more challenging game.
It automatically singles out the "King of the Hill" (not the map, but figuratively speaking) and gives the weaker players a target. Have you ever seen crabs in a bucket?

ALSO,( I'm not sure if this should be a seperate suggestion)
Regarding escalating BONUS CARDS..... Can you show the VALUE of the next BONUS CARD? or even make RANDOM BONUS CARDS an option!!
For example, have the lowest in the deck being a 4 and the highest a 15; incredmented like so....4,6,8,10,15
What a way to level the playing field! Conquerers beware.
It gives the little guy a chance to come back.

Hope that was clear enough to understand.
Thanks!

All the above can be solved by getting AJAX bob, which can be found in the plugins and addons section of general disc. you need to have firefox to use this.

this could be interesting, give it its own thread and use the form at the top of the suggestions/bug reports forum

It's also all on the to-do list anyway. As improved game log, or game log 2.0
Warning: You may be reading a really old topic.
