<Subject>:

* Concise Idea: Change back player 6 color to teal

<Body>:

* Suggestion Idea: Change back player 6 color to teal
* Specifics: The new pink color used to replace teal is far to similar to the coloe of the neutral army.
* Why it is needed: To elimenate the possible confusion players may have over pink and neutral. (espcially those who may be color blind)

Yup- I had to get a to a few inches in front of my laptop to tell the difference on the first game I clicked on. I thought I'd been wiped out with scary ease after a good first turn.

Can I suggest black?

Pretty easy to discern.

I have to say, I can see it just fine, perhaps you should try colourblind settings? Oh, and 6p is pink. ;)

The new colors are great but what about brown or black to break up all the redish colors?

black has been suggested before and denied.

Yeah, I actually have to agree here: the pink/light red is way too light now. Too easy to mistake it for neutral. And, yes, color codes can help, but still it would be ideal not to have to rely so much on that.

teal wasn't replaced, pink was, for a lighter pink.

replace orange with brown, and replace that pink with the a more bold pink, there's been 3-5 complaints. It'd be easier to see

I think the real solution is to change the neutral color to black and make the blue a little lighter. The pink and the teal you can easily tell each other apart, but either can each be confused with neutral. With the changes I suggested I think it would solve it.

Black wouldn't work on a number of maps.

Lack has expressed some interest in going with standard army bubbles that house and hold numbers universally...but not sure where that would be on the To-Do list.

Teal is easier to spell than turquoise.

Red and Orange colors.

The Red and the Orange colors are way too similar, even while using the colorcode button. Is there any way of the site making the orange either more lighter, or changing the color to something else?

turn it to light green! teal is to blue as light green is to green. it would show up fine, and not be confused with neutral or red or just empty space.

Realistically though, I think my worst color problem is on the classic map, dark blue armies in europe, I can never tell how many armies are there, seriously. I just guess, and often I'm wrong.

I agree also i think orange is too close to red, if it was a little brighter.

OK guys, I've merged all the "color" threads. And I agree there is an issue, having been orange in a game and not wanting to use the color codes b/c they clutter the map. SO, let's come up with some clearly distinguishable colors to use and present it lack as a suggestion. Exampe "swatches" would be ideal. Thanks and get those thinking caps on!!

Here is all I ever wanted in no particular order:

Yes some colors may come off a little jarring, but that's good, I can tell the difference between them all quite easily.

I don't like that, it looks like it might clash with Age of Merchants.
