on round 200, the player with the most armies wins the game. maybe half points instead of the full quota. any sets held are counted too. i guess this could be optional rather than mandatory to keep selin happy. that guy is proper crazy

And how do you know that a game has reached a deadlock at round 200? Maybe everyone is just really good and there has been constant battle for the past thirty rounds.

yeah maybe. it would alter strat in long games like that, but on the whole id say thats a worthy feature

this idea is wrong.
i'm in a game in round 185 and there's a lot of battle going on. a clear indicator is that after so many rounds the 3 players remaining have just 5-600 troops
i wouldn't want it to end at 200.

I concur - this game
game
We got to round 58 - the battle was constant and intense for 57 of those...
I thought it would never end... but eventually I overcame!!!

Perhaps the player with the most strength wins, if this is accepted.
This game is kinda stuck...

What if you are playing on San Fran. Every person in the game has a bonus and 200 armies, building fast, but the 6th player has 500 men but he only has alcatraz. How is it fair that a guy with no chance of winning should win.

that's only a specific case though...he's suggesting it implemented into all games.

perhaps an optional setting on no cards or flat rate games? i'd play them a lot more if something like this was in place - im pretty sure most of us have, or have had a few games like this going on that are incredibly tedious.

Perhaps a 100 round limit for escalating too - long games in escalating are even worse.
