12 hours not long enough

in game 1140750 our team took the turn at like 8 at night then got up in the morning and took a turn at 8 in the morning; the way that this was didnt even give a chance for the other team to take a turn
if it was changed to maybe 18 hours instead it would still have the same effect but it would give the other team a chance to go
