Losing armies

In this game:

I realized that if you start your turn but run out of time (and fail to deploy), you lose those armies completely. I think that until you actually pt down the armies, your turn should not start.
Priority: 4 (important)

I think this has been suggested before. Think of it as similar to not getting a card if you run out of time...except maybe worse.

But why? What's the logic behind it?

the logic is that you failed to do ANYTHING but start your turn in the time you get, whether its one hour or five minutes, unless you have a really crappy connection, you should b able to deploy those armies SOMEWHERE
you are probably suggesting this in response to a freestyle tactic, the best thing to do is let the turn be missed and get the armies on the next turn

The worst is in freestyle when you are racing to take someone out for their cards. They log in at the last second, cash for like 65 men and you eliminate them before they can place. 65 men disappear into limbo and both players probably lose to some third power who is now much stronger

if i understand you right. you want to start the time when you deploy. but if i get my armies then someone breaks my bonus i still can wait 23.hours before i take my turn. then deploy and do my damage

Or you have a good connection and your isp goes down in the middle of an rt. :/
