flat points matches.

offer an option under standard games where the person who starts the game has an option to offer a flat number of points given if they lose (maybe put the options at something like: 20, 40, 60, 80, or 100) and each person who enters the game is essentially wagering the same amount of points, regardless of rank.

all points would then go to the winner. i think this is a great option not only for getting more higher ranks to play more games with lower ranks, but also a great way to make "high-stakes games" when people feel like "wagering" 100 (or more?) points in a game with their friends.

any ideas/comments or modifications that could make this better?

All,

I would like to see this enhancement in the game.

Often players with 1000 or less join the game. If you lose you, you lost 30-40 or more. If you win, you get 70 points from all the other player.

This option will allowed to have another type of great challenging game for all players of all level.

As your rank get higher, you don't have any raison to play with new player. SOme of them are really good and I like to play with them. But until they raise thererank, the game is not attractive for higher ranking.

I think this should be reconsider as a valid request.

lol

the reason this was rejected is because there is to much potential abuse from the high rankers. They could easily start a game worth 100 points or something and get a bunch of really low ranked newbs to join that they can easily beat and get tons of points. Also there is possible multi abuse.

I dont agree with that. the new players learn best from playing with the higher ranked players.
I started out with a higher ranked player in my first game and lost but learnt a lot by simply watching how he played.
So it does help a lot to be playing with the higher ranked players. Never mind the points. It's the fun factor and the thrill of having learnt a new strategy, employing it in another game and then winning it.

lol

Then just dont allow the n00bs to join anybody with a rank. When they finish 5 games then they should be allowed to join these games

just because they have played 5 games doesnt mean that they are good. Yes this game is partielly luck but there is also alot of skill. I think that what it should be is that you can choose the number by which the score is multiplied by.

ie. a stardard game is (losers score/winners score)*20. You should be able to choose what the 20 is so it could be anywhere from (losers/winner)*5 to (loser/winner)*50

Thats like the same thing....And once a noob gets 5 games then they have experience thats mainly what its about. so they might not be good, but they might have luck. that probly didnt make any since. lol.

Once a person gets 5 games then i think of them as a actuall member. Before that i think its just learning and getting use to everthing. So when there an actuall member its up to them if they want to screw themselves out of points.

Heres an alternative....
Lets say im a sergent and i want to risk 50 points. Then the only people that can join are one rank below me and one rank above me and of course people of my same rank. That way every1 has a fair shot[/quote]

Just limit flat game to any number between 10 & 50

Just limit flat game to any number between 10 & 50, this will reduce the chance of abuse.

Anyway, if somebody abuse, they will be put on ignore list of a lot of players and get a lot of negative feedback. This will resolve the problem.

If the admin reject it, can I start a pool for this enhancement request?
If more than 75% of the regular user want it, than you may want to consider it.
