Java maps

Suggestion Idea: I think that instead of the maps you have now were every click you have to load a new map i think they should be in java
Specifics: Change maps to make them jave
Why it is needed: It makes the games run a lot smoother and if you have a slow connection you dont have to wait forever
I know the coding for something like this would take a while but i would like to one day see this

wouldnt that be like a huge overhaul of the site? plus ive had some bad experiences with java

The point of the new AJAX coding is that it does not load the map (the image) every time. If you have disabled AJAX in order to run GreaseMonkey scripts, that is not the fault of the website.
Some items have to be reloaded every time (army counts, since most moves update at least 1 army count), even if they were in a java applet. Speed of database access would likely not change no matter what you built the site in.

I turned of ajax but thats because it wouldnt let me take a turn or anything if i had it enabled ill see if thats still the case

thats cause your monkey is on, if you turn monkey off ajax will work...
