Deleting Members for too much negative feedback

The idea behind this is that if a player is complained about too much, hes deleted.

I just finished a game with a player that have in excess of 25 feedbacks for 6 positives. This player was abusive during chat without a good reason. I have a feeling that he doesn't care about feedback. Feedback in the end of the day does very little. Maybe you wouldn't join a game with an abusive player but they can join your game easily. Im suggesting that there is something more to feedback. There is a penalty for when they recieve too much.

The way this would work is if the player goes above 20 negative feedbacks they become investigated. The investigation will look at: The ratio of positive to negative (obviously if theres double or triple good feedback to negative feedback then it wouldn't matter), how much the CC contributes to the site in terms of subscription and community and lastly if the CC deserved the majority of the feedback or not.

The only problem is if this adds too much extra work to the staff of the site (sorry guys) especially when there is other things to be completed on the site.

But if everybody thinks this can help the site then why not? I JUST HOPE MY IDEA IS ORGINAL LOL

It really depends because this is currently not part of the rules. It could be added though, but then we would have to limit posting of negative feedback.

No, it would be rediculous.

There are absolute idiots on this game that think it's funny to give people negative feedback for anything... Plus people give negative's to Newbies that are learning things. What happens if they get to many negatives for being slow?
And what happens if there is a brilliant player who has given loads of negative feedback and the only feedback he has is from the people he gave negatives to...

The Negative feedback system is there to warn players that the person may not be that good, it's up to us if we play with these idiots...

It does totally depend on the circumstances. It could be used as evidence to ban people. But then again, that's what the ignore list is for.

How about we just act prejudiced against them and make it an option when you set up a game to not allow people with more than 5 negs to join?

I think that would be tough, but fair. Many people probably won't care, but for those that do there's nothing worse than joining or starting a game and getting a whole bunch of bottom feeders.

We currently aren't looking to 'add user set restrictions', to joining games. This goes for Negative Feedback and Newbies with lower scores, etc. The best thing you can do this is create Private Password Protected games, and when phpBB's Rival's comes out look into joining/creating a Clan.

The players with lot's of games finished would have more negatives proportionally. For instance 50 games with 10-1 for feedback becomes 200 games with 40-4 for feedback.
