Board Language

Allow people to change the board language to something different, other than English.

I was just going through "My Profile", and noticed that it had the option to change the "board language"

I could change it from English, to English, great stuff.

I believe that it is possible, however, to make the different maps playable in different languages, for each individual person.

For instance, how much time would it take to change "Western United States" to "L'ouest des Etats Unis" That way, the site is playable by many different people, in different languages, so that they feel more comfortable while playing.

I know I might give the French version a try, just to see how my French skills really are ;)

Although this is not necessary, and some people would never change it, this community is very diverse, and may care for it.

I'd probably play the priority at a 2, because of the given reason.

Thanks,
-John

The problem with changing the maps (which is unnecessary) would be that you would have to have multiple versions of each map. However, changing everything else (buttons, tabs, instructions via your Personal Menu) would be great, I think. Though, it would require lack hiring a professional translator to do it for most languages (his French can't be that bad, living in Montreal).

If you really want different languages, here are the languages I suggest(not in an order of importance):
Simplified/Traditional Chinese
Russian
Spanish
German
French
Dutch
Portuguese
Japanese
Korean

Yeah, good idea on the different ones, but you missed Italian
It would open it up to many more people of different countries ;)
