To make an alliance game feel like an alliance, I think that as long as 1 or all team memebers are in an area, both of them should get points for holding the area, but divided among them. Example: 2 player team in one territory that gives 2 points, 1 to each. For 3 player team, the lowest area is 3 points. Even points on territory for 2 players and odds for 3.
Even though they are only allies, they are playing as a team. This gives both teams the ability to conqour one or the other as a team. The trick is to have each player start in one area next to each and expand on neutural territories. Points added differently, say 2 for one or more area, until both or one member of team gets the whole territory. Also, you can fortify trough your ally. Another suggestion, team member chat box, so the other team doesn't know both of your next move.

There is a team member chat box. And no, YOU must hold a continent to get the continent bonus

Key Word ALLIANCE. We are talking about team battles. With one member in one continent still makes it feel like one on one. That is why it's doubles and triples. It's a team effort to work together, not attack one another. Like I said ALLIANCE[/u][/b]

I understand your point, but if you want the bonus, YOU must hold the bonus, not your team, that is the way it works. If you both have guys on one continent, I suggest letting one person take the bonus and the other guy puts all 1's on the countries to make it easy.

He's suggesting that we change it so that if your team occupies a continent then the bonus is distributed between them

Been discussed and rejected I don't know how many times.
Simple, do what misterman10 says, and you won't have any problems

It would be cool to play a triples game and one person hold Australia. You would get like half an army!

How would you roll 1/2 a dice, or, how would you lose down to 1/2..
Do you own half of the country?
Then, at that point, does the other half go to neutral?

Say you and your team member has australia, 1 would go to you and the other to your team member. In a doubles game the points would be generated in evens, so both of you can get dices in one continent.
2=1 to each
4=2
6=3
8=4
etc.
In a triples game, the lowest possible score would be 3.
3=1 to each team member
5=2,2,1 goes to the one with the smallest area
7=3 to the one with the most area, 2,2
9=3 to all
unless only two members hold then then the one with the most area gets more dices
3=2,1
5=3,2
7=4,3
9=5,4
or
whoever goes first gets the most dices.

Probably nearly impossible to code even if the mods supported it (which they and the community at large don't).

honestly, mod can come up with new areas and new points for new areas, in doubles and triples, it would be like new areas onlt for doubles and triples. get my drift, it's just playing on a real RISK BOARD game and making up new rules for harder stratagy. [/b]

It gives less strategy because you don't have to put forth the strategy who will own the the continent.
What if both players own Asia first turn, wont you feel stupid for putting forth this idea?
I say no, like I said a heck of a long time ago

you start in only one area ( in the biggest area) while surrounded by nueturals more then 3 dices. You're not scattered all over the board at the beginning. our you have one dice all over the board and you get to place 3 dices to se where you start. What I'm mmainly looking for is more options to creating a game
