Organized player bodies/clans

I have always been a team person who likes victory through teamwork and help, and dreamed of organized player groups, in which players work together for each other and for the groups. I believe lots of conquer club players would like to feel belonged to a clan, and this would increase competition and fun of the website.I am suggesting more than private clans in conquer club, and want the website to officially help identifying players in clans by perhaps putting their clan name beside their username. The clans could start with the leadership of moderators, and eventually divide the website into dominate forces; maybe like the four houses in Hogwartz...people would be willing to join clans just as unions to benefit themselves and the others. I really think that having clans run by or even just recognized the site will make conquer club a lot more fun and interesting!

an example of a game with such system is starcraft; if a player joins a clan their clan name will be in brackets beside their suername

I call Hufflepuff!

We'll be testing out a new clan/tourney system after the next update. PhpBB Rivals, you can google it to check out screenshots and stuff. But it will basically be an automated tourney ladder system, plus clan rankings and other nifty features.

Would this place people who either aren't in a clan, don't want to join a clan, or aren't good enough to get into a clan at a disadvantage in some way in games?

If so, I think this is a bad idea. If not, what's the point of a clan?

If you have to ask what the point is, you wouldn't understand it if being explained to you...

EDIT: And this thing about not being good enough. Looking at what seems to be out there today, I don't think you need to worry to much about it...
