Scoreboard: Look up user and jump to page

When you look at the scoreboard, there are many countless pages of members showing at what place each is in. And there's the "look up user" box. Say you want to look up yourself, see exactly where you are on the scoreboard. With the current version, it looks up the username just fine, but it doesn't show the person's placement on the scoreboard. It only shows things you could easily find by merely looking up their profile.

What I was thinking is, why not, when you scan for the user, the result is the page of the scoreboard where the user is on, automatically scrolling to exactly where the user is? That way, the user won't have to look up current placement page by page, searching for their username among thousands of others based only upon current number of points.

Priority: 2

I like the idea, but the point of the search is to narrow your search down to certain players. What if you only know a certain part of the username, you would only type in something like "con". This would bring up any username with "con" in their name. So actually, I'm not sure that this idea would work out. Best thing to do is just know your score and narrow down to what page it is on.

I think it would be nice to just alter it so instead of saying that a user is number 1 when you search their name, it just keeps whatever place they are in. I know I've got friends who I've looked up to see if they made it to the top 1000 or something yet, having it just show up next to their name would be a nice little fix.

Nothing important though, that's for sure.

Now that is a good idea, when looking up username it displays the rank in the entire scoreboard, that is a good idea.

Why thank you, wicked.

I'm sure it's not that hard of a thing to just throw into the end of another update someday. One of those little "polishing" things.

Why not post the rank next to the score in someone's profile as well?

So good, it's been suggested before! ;)

Show Actual Ranking In Scoreboard Searches is Pending. Eventually, you'll learn every item on the To-Do list by heart. I have!
