Optional Clock?

Why is it not possible to set the clock as an option. People may wish to have private games with invited people only and they may not want the clock.

Just saying it would be nice if it could be turned off in certain instances.

I think he's trying to suggest no time limit.

What if one player just stops playing for some reason?

Then make it adjustable.

The point being, a 24 hour clock assumes marriage to ones computer. Get out of the basement and take an occasional weekend trip for heavens sake!! :)

Ideally, the clock could be either set for a specific period that allowed absence. For invite games, this would be rather useful. Allow premium level members to form their own club to play as they wish. I mean, why should one size fits all be the only avail option?

Hrm I know speed games are on the to-do list but I don't know about the time limit being adjusted the other way. Interesting idea.

I like the idea of controlling the clock.... Maybe an option to set how long you want the turns to last... Maybe 3 hours.. maybe 72.....or even no time limit.... it would help people who are away from there computer for a weekend.... it would also make RT Games a bit more uniform.... play a 2 hour turn limit RT Game... and so on.
