Copyright Hasbro

Postby laughingcavalier on Fri May 25, 2007 8:21 pm

OK, I found conquerclub via googling "online risk".
But I am amazed Hasbro has not thrown the copyright lawyers at you.
Unless you have worked out an accomodation with them?
But you've got a community here now. And the lifeblood of the club is in the new maps + forum, chat & community generally.
So are you redy to dro the "classic" map?
Can't help thinking this will protect the future of the site against avaricious copyright lawyers.

Lack has a team of well-trained lawyers and I believe everything so far is well within copyright laws. Appreciate the concern though, and welcome to the site! :)

You mean Risk (TM), the board game similar to that popular online World Domination website?

yes like china, although the map is essentially a map of the world so they can't hold strong copyright over it.
