AI option to stop these annoying people

I just joined CC a week ago and I'm already ready to leave again, just because some ****s deliberately skip their turn.
I check my games about 5 times a day to make sure I don't miss a turn.
If I know I'm going to miss a turn, I would have the courtesy to tell the others first, so they don't waste their time checking back every couple of hours. If I were unlucky and my internet connection went down, I would apologize to the others for making them wait, but these ***********s don't even say "Sorry". :x I just reckon that's rude, don't you? :?:

Why not just create the option where nobody skips their turn ever?
If you don't play. The computer plays for you. It's quite simple.

If you can't make it every day, have a 2 or 3 day option, so people who are on the same technology cycle can play together. I'd rather have a 6 hour cycle than a 24 hour one. It way too slow as it is!

Check the millions of other threads on this! But I will give you an answer - sometimes life genuinely does happen and people have more important things to do than take their turns on an online computer game. And please, calm down - this is not Flame Wars so that language is a tad out of place.

You could always buy premium.... more open games means more turns to play.

Also, check into playing freestyle games. You're guaranteed a turn in every game once a day, and most times you get 2 or 3 per day.

we'd have to come up with a program to play the turns, and it'd bog down the server, not to mention the complaints that'd come up about it

AI players have already been rejected. Check the to-do list.

I know... that should have been in my last post but better late than never, right?

Just my opinion, but I think that "sometimes" those people should suffer because of it. Why should the people who are continuing to play suffer?

I don't really think anything is going to change about this...I just had to throw in my $.02! :)

For AI I suggest landgrab, they have different options for CC in exchange for getting worse maps. Different strokes for different folks.
