Removing password requirements on private games

I know this suggestion probably looks strange from the title, but let me explain...I'm trying to set up public doubles games with various people.

At the moment, my brother (denspark) and I set up doubles games when we're both online at the same time.

Trouble is, we're almost never online at the same time, so we're very erratic at getting these games set up.

Would it be possible to have it so that:

a) you can set up private games,

b) which can then be made public, by allowing the person who set the game up to remove the password requirement?

Obviously the reason I'm requesting this is so that I can set up a game, wait for denspark to join, and then once he's joined, make it available to all-comers.

We are starting to try other methods of setting these up, btw, but something like this would be really convenient while we're building up a list of contacts, etc.

Also, if my suggestion has already been put up, or is redundant for some reason, please flame me mercilessly.

Dammit! Why do people always steal my best ideas before I've come up with them?

I can't think of a comeback just yet - give me an hour or so.
