Re-labeling of the new maps in 'My Games'

Postby Incandenza on Fri May 11, 2007 1:37 am

Suggestion Idea: relabel the new maps on the 'My Games' page so they don't have the eye-catching 'NEW!' label

Specifics: I would prefer that the new maps on said page were just the small thumbnails of the maps, like all the other 'old' ones. Once I've joined the game, I don't really need to know that it's new.

Why it is needed: For no other reason than aesthetics. Honestly, if it's not a moronically simple fix, it's probably not worth doing. But the My Games page would look a little cleaner. Plus it helps to be able to, at a glance, ID a particular game by the map thumbnail, and were a person to find themselves in games on 2 or even 3 of the new maps, such would not be possible.

I actually think that it was a suggestion to have the "New" over them so I doubt it will be changed back again, or that many will want it changed back again

New thingy works in 'game finder' and 'start new'...

But perhaps not in the "My Games" suggestion...

I love it in start new - especially now the maps are alphabetical instead of quasi-chrono!!

it'll b gone soon enough. that is unless the next update takes a long time in which case they could still be considered new in about 3 months
