Unfair advantages in sequential games

I don't know if this has been brought up before...
Just noticing that in a sequential game, whoever gets the first turn has the advantage of getting 6 armies to begin with, and being able to attack first. If he attacks and successfully takes a territory of the second player on the list (for example), that player only gets 5 armies, yet that player hasn't been able to deploy anything or fortify at all. One missing army (or sometimes more) can make a huge difference in the first round of play.
Anyway, one solution would be to give all players 6 armies during the first round, regardless of territories controlled. Then, the regular rules apply after that first round.

1. You should try using the form (check the sticky at the top of the forum).

2. There are advantages and disadvantages to going first and last. Just develop strategies for any given situation.

... and 3. it depends on the map if it is a small one you would only get 3-4 armies, if its world 2.1 you could get 10-12 armies, if i remember properly (for a 3 person game)
4. calm down its just the first turn and its just an armie, you can lose 10 armies just trying to take one 1 territorie :x dont botter because of this
