Friendless Team Game

In team games you have a huge advantage if you play with someone who you know / can and have worked with in the past. As a result of this, people tend to pair up and play on the same doubles and triples team over and over again. The fear is if they branch out and play with a new person, a combo might be playing against them.

I am not sure how to make this enforceable (or if it is even possible), but can a game play modification be added to make team games specifically with people you don’t often play with. This way neither side would have an advantage, and it might mix up the same old teams a bit.

My only beef with playing team games with random strangers on your team is that oftentimes it's incredibly frustrating.

1) they have a rather high chance of deadbeating (even after the new rule)
2) they tend to not be as good at cooperation as someone you know
3) once in a while you'll get that guy who purposely attacks his own partners, or simtom, on your team

I don't see why a rule such as this should be added, since it takes away the entire point of team games, which is to cooperate as best as you can, and it also takes away the joy of playing with friends. My only suggestion, I guess, is to find a few reliable partners yourself, since you seem to be a very good player, or to play Sequential, where simultaneous turns do not give the other team as much of an advantage.

i know wat u mean and there has been a suggestion for random teams where you join and then teams are decided once every is in. that would be a good idea but you shouldn't be forcibly prevented from playing with a regular partner. i only play doubles with people i know simply because i very rarely play doubles and when i do i want a good game
