Transfer territories between teammates

Personally, I think it is very unrealistic that you have to attack your teammate to take over his territories. I think it would be much better if territories could simply be transferred when they border one of your teammate's.
Besides, if anyone has played boardgame RISK, they will know that you can take over a territory simply by forting more men into it than what your teammate already has there. While I realise that this probably would not fit into CC, I think that my idea is a good fallback.
And also, I hate losing 3 or 4 armies attacking a teammate's 1 army in order to take a continent or something. It's just stupid!

Who plays doubles on the boardgame?
this is the stupidest idea i've ever heard of, if you want to transfer armies to your teammate, fortify them at the end of your turn!
your priority should be negative 10 because this is already part of the site!
oh, and by the way, if i cant attack my partner, what is the point of playing with one, half the game is working together with your partner, building your team up, so you can eventually strike!

You say what? I'm suggesting that it will make it more like a team if you don't attack your teammate. Instead you just transfer territories between each other. My idea was sparked by another thread on attacking your own armies:

I think it should be more complex than that.
If your team holds a continent then your team should get the bonus. Otherwise it's more like a standard game with set alliances which we currently have. It doesn't truely represent team play and it sucks when you have to attack your team for a bonus.
Granted there's pretty much nothing that can be done about that until we get rid of random troop deployment... Without being able to select your troop placement half the strategy of the game is eliminated before the match even starts.
all in all I like the idea of being able to transfer troops to a teammate. I think it would open up a lot more options for strategy and bring more fun to the game.

What should happen is when you attack your teammate, you cannot lose any troops. Although that would really suck if your teammate was out to kill you and didn't really want to play... But that sucks anyway so...

i think this is an interesting idea although i'm sure its been discussed somewhere before. as for not being able to lose armies when attacking your team mate this wouldn't work because then team mates could be too easily taken out for their cards

I thought I'd seen something like it somewhere before as well but, since it isn't on the "To-Do" list, I thought it would be easier to just start a new thread

I think this is a great idea. But I think if a team holds something the team gets the bonus. The only problem i guess is who on the team gets the bonus the whole team or just some of the team.

To be honest, I don't think the team getting the bonus for holding a continent between them would work. However, if my suggestion is taken on board it will make it simple just to transfer territories from one player to the other and allow 1 player to take the bonus.

I don't think that matters, though. If I have good cards, and I'm about to be killed, I want my teammate to have my cards. Being murdered by your teammate isn't a bad thing, it can help you win. The idea I mentioned earlier would help team games, if it's easy to take out a teammate for their cards, then teams would be better. I think a better way would be if for example, I have 3 armies on argentina, and my teammate has 12 on brazil. I could attack him, and automatically, i'd have 1 in argentina, and 14 in brazil. I'd absorb his armies as well.

^I know what you mean in that situation at least as I have done it frequently myself. However, like I said, it isn't very realistic. "My ally is almost dead so let's kill him off ourselves"

Donate Area/Country

I'm not sure that this has been asked before, and quite frankly i don't even know what to type in to search for it.
But playing a few team games I noticed how annoying trying to conquer your teammate’s area is, maybe the dice don't roll in your favor or whatever it may be.
I was thinking, that is if this hasn't be suggested yet, to include a "donate country button" to fellow teammates.
You could either do it so that when you donate your area/country you drop all armies except 1, which would become that of one of your teammates that you choose.
Or, you just donate whatever amount of armies there happens to be, to whatever player, thus making the land theirs.
I just feel it's weird to Attack an ally to gain their land when you are both on the same team.
Let me know.

I don't quite understand how trying to conquer somebody on your own team is strategy.. but ok fair enough.
it's usually just fine anyway just thought it would be something to add as an option just like Cards or play style.

it was concerning the fact that you are very stupid if you conquer a continent half both and then have to conquer one another (as double partners)
