Missing Turns and Cards

Various people have complained about certain people missing two turns then taking one to get the round multiplier. While in my mind, this is a viable strategy, it slows down the game and also makes the other players resentful. However, in most games, there is a tradeoff involved. When people miss turns, they deprive themselves of the possibility to get a card and then cash later. However, people who regularly use this strategy often join no card games where they can safely turtle their way through the rounds. I propose this: that no card games have the 3 consecutive round limit decreased to 2. This leaves some room for understandable inaccessibility while cutting down on the triple army advantages that people get. For most people, this shouldn't be an issue because we don't see very many no card games anyways.

I don't agree. The round multiplier doesn't give any more armies than you would get if you just played your turn anyway. The only difference is that you don't get a card. In no cards games, people who miss turns to get their armies multiplied aren't really gaining anything anyway. And some people who miss turns unintentionally like to play no cards games. If I love no cards games, but their are 2 days a week I can't play, I don't want to be kicked out of a game. I think a better suggestion is to have a "Start Your Own Game" option to pick how many missed turns it takes to be kicked out. For example, you could have a game where if you miss 1 turn, you're out. This would move Freestyle games a lot faster since sometimes only one person has yet to go, and then they miss their turn, slowing down what should be a fast moving game.
