Moving countries

Postby alanapp on Thu Apr 19, 2007 8:12 pm

Just a thought here but what about a map that is in motion between truns so that the countries that are connected this turn will be moved, randomly or not, next turn. Continents would be interesting, one move you hav all of a continent , next move even if you gain/loose nothing, you may not have one....Just a thought.

Don't hold me on this, but I don't think that this is possible with the current XML system that we are using. Maybe the monkey will show up soon…

Yeah, I asked about this a long time ago in the Foundry. Not currently possible.

hmmm, xml will allow for layers to be used, make each layer show the dynamic information from database or session variables or whatever...... well just a thought. Maybe this program and not xml ingeneral are the limitation...

Correct - the XML can show whatever it wants to... it's the program that is parsing it that can't do it...
