Missed turn counter...?

Postby Deesotilio on Sun Apr 15, 2007 6:36 pm

Well, I tried the search and didn't find anything directly relevant... I've noticed the new setup banning New Recruits from joining team games on the grounds of deadbeating, but there are some ranked people that seem to make a habit of deadbeating, and once they join up in one of your games it's too late.
Negative feedbacks are generally a good way to pick these people out, but I think a counter in the offender's profile should add up either how many turns they've missed, or how many games they've been kicked from. This would probably seem just like a novelty, so it should be paired with an addition to the scoreboard (maybe) where you can see who's missed the most out of habit, so maybe we players who like to move at least once a day can go in and add some of them to their ignore list :P
Or, maybe even adding the turn counter like the feedback system, where you can comment on why you missed the turns, for example if a kid got grounded from the internet, they picked up an extra shift at work, or their internet was down (this one happened to me, and I wouldn't want to get branded as a deadbeater).
Just a suggestion ;)

Well, I do think it's a good idea. Maybe when lack fixes the bugs of this update…
