Weather, Plagues, Randomness

Concise description:
  • Fog generated via random number (as used for dice), Sudden nuclear strike on some regions or even continents (PLAGUE) either at start of round or when spoils cashed in without warning

Specifics/Details:
  • Many other things could be added , basically all available game options weather could also force only adjacent reinforcement or even trench warfare - if this were to be generated randomly at the start of the round (rather than by spoils)
Not sure how this would play out but i know that random numbers are used and existing options could be utilised - sorry if im not using the form properly not adept at code.
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • more "realistic" or at least unpredictable - a healthy challenge. Would mean that great players would be challenged more and shitter players could have a wild chance here or there. Im throwing it out there as I dont have any idea how this would or could be coded under the existing framework. I think this could do with extra suggestions from other players - a concept but not quite a fully formed one yet.

I think this is a really cool idea. I also think it might be very complicated to code. I believe some of the computer games that are similar to CC have something like this. At the end of your turn, you might see "Rebel troops killed 3 armies in XXX"

Very good agentcom, so now we have weather (fog and effecting reinforcement), plagues, rebel forces. any other ideas out there? Coding still a concern; seems intuitive at the start of a round where the game options could be tweaked but would be more fun and stressful at the end of player's turn. Let's here from the veterans with plenty of medals and games under their belts, hopefully with some scripting/programming knowledge......
