It's all nice if someone have to wait half a turn since he's the last that played a turn however it's not nice if he's the one DUE to a missed turn.
Example. There's only 2 people left in a game and someone who's the last to attack miss a turn, in this case the one who played last will have to wait too much. So I guess the "miss turn" should be taken as a play so one wouldn't have to wait too much.

Perhaps some clarification is due. I assume you mean Freestyle games where a player misses a turn, so the last player to play has to wait for a player to start their turn before he gets to play? I imagine there was some reasoning behind that, as I believe this has been suggested and rejected before.

Yes. I mean. In freestyle mode and there's only two players left and if one of them leaves you shouldn't wait that much to play again.
