New Members - Warn on 4 game limit after joining 3

Concise description:- We need to warn new members of the 4 game limit while they are joining games, after they reach 3 games. We should do this for a while, until they get the point.
Specifics/Details:- Once upon a time I joined this site, and didn't know how it all worked.
- I wanted to play some games, and filled up my slots.
- Then I realized I didn't get to go because it wasn't my turn.
- I wish I had joined chat first and looked in the Callouts tab for a non-speed RT game.
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:- I would have received instant gratification and experience of the site and it's play.
- This will help people know the place is cool and to come back.
- It will help reduce the bounce rate of new players.

This seems like a good idea. Maybe the information about the Live Chat Callouts should be conveyed immediately upon joining as well.

I tried a site (pretty similar to CC with less map and fun). they offer the freemium members 3 casual games at a time and 1 speed game per day. I guess it's a sweet idea too.

The 3 casual games with one speed game is a good idea as long as the
new member knows that with the speed game, they cannot go for a walk.

And maybe have that as an option after they've played a few games, kind of like how you can't join 6-player games right away, but let them know the option's there if you stick with it.
A warning couldn't hurt, and if it's only up through their first few games, I think it will more helpful than annoying.

And maybe include in the warning that they can play unlimited games if they purchase premium?

Maybe this suggestion would fix some off the problems regarding newbies leaving the site and deadbeat games.

The 4-game limit isn't what drives new players away, it's the "non-speed" game effect. People want to play as soon as they log onto the site. I think what should be conveyed first is the callouts for non-speed RT games.

Maybe you should allow new members to play speed games for a specific length of time, such as 7 days. That way, when they join, they get instant gratification from playing a game that is in RT without having to find a chat or forum or anything to find someone to play with. And, it acts as a sort of "premium trial" -- that makes more sense, actually - forget allowing speed games for 7 days - allow new users to be Premium for the first 7 days of their account. That way if they like it, they'll have to pay for the benefits, and in the meantime, they actually get to experience the benefits and play speed games, etc.

IMO this will just result in dozens of multis.. they make a new account, join 100 games over 7 days, play for a few weeks, make a new account, join 100 games, play for a few weeks... etc.
I do however agree with the 1 speed game a day,

+1 on everything. Maybe a time limit on the 1 speed game a day though. Maybe for the first week they could have 1 a day.

I agree that a callout place for RT games would be great, but do you really not want to know that you can only join 4 games? You know you can be informed of multiple things, right?

Why not an intro PM to all new members upon sign up? Include links and everything that's been stated so far? Easy enough to send out an automated PM. Would be harder to figure out what all to put.
