A Way to Handle the Creation of New Language Subfora

Concise description:- A special board created for all the languages without their own special forum sections
Specifics/Details:- The new section would appear under the current foreign language sections and be entitled "Other Languages" or something to that effect
- Within this section would be threads for each language (ex: "The X Thread" or the words Conquer Club in whatever language)
- You could leave it up to the mods to decide how to add a new language to this section. The choice I'd like most is to allow users to add them at their leisure.
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:- Encourage more usage of the forum by non-English speaking or bilingual CC users, creating a more active and connected community
- End the suggestions to create X language forum and allow the valued mods to focus on other suggestions
- The International Mods can gague the popularity of every language and add subfora for those that are used most often

I think this is a great idea, actually.

What if there are language threads containing languages that no moderators speak? It will make moderating those threads a serious pain.

Well there's always a free translator of sorts. Chrome has extensions that automatically translate text from different languages to english on all webpages, for example. I'm sure there's equivalents in Firefox and IE.

Not bad... Certainly this would change the policy of creating new international forums. I would think that would be more of a good thing.

You also have to consider people trying to open up pointless Language forums, in languages nobody really knows, which would just clutter things.
Also, Online Translators aren't always 100% perfect. I've used them a few times, and what comes out of it doesn't make sense to me half the time.

Spam and the usual spammers would be an issue, but otherwise I like this idea.

While I would not use this, I think it's a good idea.
The languages being used in the 'Other Languages' section could be precursors to new Forums themselves if they were being used enough. It would be sort of an application to get your language into Forum status. If it is a Forum that will be used, I am in favor.
I would say to try to get other people in here to try and support your idea. Other Non-English language speakers who will use the forum. Go recruiting!!
