A new option for starting new games:
How many cards will each player start with?
0 -- Default
1
2
3
4
5

No I don't like it - I prefer to have the challenge of establishing myself the normal way and this could put someone really in control from the outset

I agree with Robin. Where is the challenge when the cards are handed to you without earning anything first? Bad idea IMO.

Aren't there enough thinks to complain about already? The dice, the countries you get to start with.

It would actually give a bigger advantage to all the players after him if it's escalating.

Did anyone miss the fact that he said "OPTION"?
Whats wrong with more options? If you don't like the style of game, don't start or join one. I hate freestyle games...so I don't play them. Others love them...to each his own.
The more options the better in my opinion.

I agree usually with the more options, the better...but I don't think this is even a good option.

Imagine it in no cards games.

Oh, man, that would be SWEET!

"Round 18....should I play my ONLY mixed set for the entire game NOW, knowing I won't be getting any more cards EVER, or should I WAIT?"

so many people don't like it, so it's not worth lack doing.

I think in freestyle flat rate terminator I would like to be able to make everyone start with a mixed set.
For any other option I can't see this being a good idea.
