Add in a short "play by play" demo to the instructions

Concise description:
add a few short "play by play" demonstrations to show people, rather than just describe, how various attacks, games, etc work.

Specifics/Details:
Along with the written instructions, have a couple of "demo modules" that would show people visually what is described.

For example, you could click and see what happens with a bombard, side-by side with what happens in an attack. Examples of various bonus types, fog, etc.
In a few cases, maybe even a demo of the game (thinking of an example of classic, plus some that confuse the most people, such as AOR, Fuedal, etc.)

In addition to differet attack types, spoils types, fog, manual versus automatic, you could include how to play Assassin, team basics, etc.

NOTE, this is NOT a practice game or any such. There is no interaction, just a "click and see a demo deal."

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
some people pick things up by just reading, but a lot of people need a more visual example.

I think there is enough talent out there to create a few short demo-plays to illustrate exactly what is meant by each game type. The only real question is which examples to include and if it would take too much server space. However, even if the full list above cannot be included, I think a shortened version would help.

Animated gifs are easy enough to make and don't take up much server space.

This is definitely something we'd like to do. It's been on hold whole we have been updating our GUI (with a feature to be released soon). But it is definite something I'd like help get going!

Yeah, it wouldn't be hard to do.

We can use screenshots of a game, crop them to something like 400x400, and add some explanatory text/graphics on the frames, make a sort of slideshow...

If anyone wants to provide the screenshots and the "script" for the slideshow, I can compose the animations.

I can do a script, but not the pictures. (I don't know how to do screenshots)

One thought I had was, to take bombardment as an example, have "side by side" shots, so you can see if you attack, you own the territory, can move more onto it, etc. However, if you bombard, it goes nuetral and you cannot forward any territories.

Also, for those territories that reset, make it clear that it only resets on that person's next turn. So, if you leave it with just 1 army, the other guy can come along and take it easily.

Player, if you want to write the "scripts" for these demo animations/slideshows, we could then play some games where I could take the screenshots and compile them into animations. PM me if you're interested in doing this.
