Concise description:
  • make it against site rules for players losing games or about to be eliminated to miss shots.

Specifics/Details:
  • ok in games players who are losing have the tendancy to miss turns to be eliminated quicker. instead of allowing this plz make it against the rules just now a player who only misses 2 time is not classified as a deadbeat.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • This will benifit the site because it will make games more enjoyable to play.. i have been comming across this more often of late. where a player has 5 cards you hit him to try take him out and fail by 1 just to have that player deadbeat. then the next player come along and take the five cards along with either the 5 he had or 2 and getting a double triple cash for it. This changing the whole balance of the game.

This frustrates me as much as anyone eddie, but this suggestion has absolutely no chance of being passed. The fact is that this site is based on the casual gamer, and the casual gamer misses turns. If it coincidentally happens at the end of a game instead of in the middle, well...that's bad luck.

This suggestion is a waste of everyone's time.

wait a min let me see. hummmmmmmmmmmmm

was it not the case that players who play freestyle missing opening shot to go first for advantage getting busted in c and a. well this is the opposite and could be classed as deliberate throwing of the game and intentional d/beating. i am not meaning if a player does this once. i am meaning if their is a track record of it.

woodruff you even admit it annoys you as well let me give you an example of what happened to me the other day.

one player 5 cards deadbeat his last shot because 1 region left. but while he was doing this he was still playing his other game that we were both in. this same player has done this 3 times in the last week in games. 1 i admit i gained the advantage to take another player and his cards out.

It's not intentionally deadbeating if you don't miss three turns in a row. As well, it may annoy you, but think of how much more annoying it will be when your playing an escalating turn and this new rule (figuratively) forces the end of turn and card taking of all of your opponents. Now instead of accidentally missing, literally everyone just picked up a card, no matter how fast they are.
Besides that, how do you keep track of someone's track record of deadbeating. How do you know when it's intentional and when he/she just didn't hit end turn fast enough. I don't see this ever getting implemented.

So if someone does this to you, play your turns but don't completely eliminate them. They will either come back to the game and you can finish it, or they will deadbeat (and if enough folks do this, then you can put in a C&A claim against them).

You annoy me too, eddie...should you be banned because of it?

Actually, in the past, in two of the 3 "Intentional Deadbeating" cases I found, I listed tons of games where the certain player missed 2 turns at the end. Players include.. Kingburger's other account (I can't remember it) and PTSych. The Multi Hunters do deem if they do this in every game they are losing that it can be considered Intentional Deadbeating, even if they didn't deadbeat out of the game.

While true, it has to be a MASSIVE number of them.

Exactly, if it is 1 or 2 cases, it won't be taken seriously.

What if a bot took their turn for them? i.e., the system simply cashes their cards and drops them, then ends their turn with no attacks.

Life happens. I have had to abandon speed games because my son's school called, (of course I NEVER get involved in the forums and just forget to take my turn  ) If you don't want to play someone, you can foe them. However, the truth is everyone goofs now and then.

I don't think that this will ever change from the three missed turns rule. Rejected.
