Deadbeated Players should pay, too

In games with doubles or triples, deadbeated players should pay, too.

It's unfair in triples because there's no such chance to win a game with two against three player's in the game. So deadbeated players should pay, too. It's like a punishment for getting deadbeated.

have a look at #20438

They seem to wait and to get deadbeated.

it's a small map and so it's possible to get very strong after only 3 rounds.

It's really silly.

perhaps it would be a solution to deadbeat persons only if they do not login whithin 72 hours. If they login to move in another game, they have the possibility to move in every other game, too; so they may not be deadbeated.

Well, other than the fact that you tripple posted which is generally regarded as not very good, what do you mean by "pay"

if you were more specific, it would help ;)

Currently, deadbeats in doubles games do not share in the points taken by their team if they win, in addition, I believe, but would have to check, that deadbeats still lose points if they lose but nobody gains them if they go out in the first couple turns.

So, if you could be more specific about what you mean by "pay" it would be helpful..and dont double post ;);)

Have a great day, may your deadbeats be few and your points many

they should pay for entering the game and then get kicked. e.g 30 points that may be shared between the other player.

You don't gain points from deadbeats for a reason, it was changed recently:

Maybe deadbeats should lose points (as a punishment), but people shouldn't gain points from beating them.

I think they may loose points to _all_ other players, not only to the winner.

Yeah, I'm going to continue advocating for a point penalty for people who deadbeat to be distributed to everyone else playing who does not deadbeat... I'd say 3 points per opponent. Sure it doesn't take any skill to beat a deadbeat, but like all things (say the roll of the dice) shouldn't it average out over time? It's not like you can schedule to play against someone who deadbeats. Also, isn't it more important to keep people playing in games moving (in cases where people are deadbeating for strategic reasons rather than forgetfulness) than it is to keep scores perfectly fair? Besides, the scoring system seems less than perfect for other reasons anyway.
