Allow anything on CC forums

On another note, all she's doing is reiterating the forum guidelines, which are what you agree to abide by in order to post in the forums. Are you saying you would rather see anything allowed on the forums. Wouldn't that degrade a lot and make these forums a less fun place to be?

Specifics/Details:
  • Simple, no moderating with the exception of general thread cleanup. No locking, banning or rationalizing poorly made decisions

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • We won't be pissy at the mods anymore.

your poll and suggestion dont match...the suggestion calls for no modding however your poll asks if less modding would be better

LOL. Not so long ago, CC had a forum called "Flame Wars" where people could, and did post anything.
Even that was moderated to a point. It was dropped because it was deemed to have caused too many problems. All requests to reinstate that have failed.

There is no way your idea will pass.

I enjoy the spirit of your suggestion, but I think you fail to see the full implication of what could happen if that were done. Specifically, if there were no moderation except the general locking of threads and moving of stuff to the appropriate forum, then there would be no enforcement of the community guidelines. Thus spam, advertisements and other no-nos would arrive in the forums. Anyways, this suggestion has already happened, and was already rejected. Moving this to rejected.
