Reminder of when premium is about to run out

Concise description
A curtesy PM to tell you that your membership is set to expire in so and so days

Specifics/Details:
Perhaps a month prior to the day a person's premium expires

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
Time flies when you are being a nerd on CC. Didnt realize my premium was up. This would be helpful to those who cant just pull out their wallet and make a credit card appear :)

Super idea.
Maybe a count-down on on your profile page, that turns to flashing, when it gets down to 30 days.

A PM is sent at the 2 weeks left mark.

Yeah, a pm can be overlooked, and an e-mail may not ever be read. But a count-down on your profile page would be seen every day, and when it turns to flashing, would definitely be noticed. And not just noticed once like a pm, but every day for a month.

Oops, I meant email, not PM.

there already is a countdown...click on premium membership. if you can miss a pm and email then you can miss a countdown. I'm in favour of a pm and email.

A visible count-down w/out having to click anything would serve the purpose much better. Also it should say, Days left until premium runs out. Not, your premium is good until such a date.

I approve, I didn't realise my prem was running out and as a result had to pull out of several tounreys and other comitments all at once. I was away while i was sent the email reminder which i was given just 4 days before it ran out.

This seems like such an easy thing, with only benefits to CC. Why not do it?

This would be a handy little addition.

Show When Your Premium Expires on Profile

Concise description:
  • Show when premium expires on either players profiles or the user Control Panel (I am not aware of any means that you can do this)

Specifics/Details:
  • Clear enough in the description.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • Reminds people when their premium will run out, and prepare to either renew or if unable to renew, whatever else they may need to do (exit tournaments, etc)

My premium expired today. I thought I had another year because I supposedly won another year from demonfork in one of the threads he had going. Well, that didn't happen (surprise surprise), and now I am in a handful of tournaments (including two of my own) that I may not be able to complete. Now this is just my bad experience, but I'm sure this would help a lot of other people. For example, if I would have KNOWN when my premium expired, I would have not joined those tournaments etc, and would have prepared to get it or be prepared for not having it. Just a thought!

There is already a countdown of you're premium.

Under Personal Menu > Premium Membership

There is a huge countdown with the date and time it expires.

Oh, merging into another thread.

I think he just means the countdown isnt the easiest to see.
