Play Order suggestion.

1. Sequential = fixed order (A then B then C etc...)
2. Freestyle = any order (ABC CBA BAC etc...)
3. Stepped = rolling order (ABCDE, BCDEA. CDEAB etc...)
Is there any reason why #3 isn't a play order option?
I've not thought about the implications of it enough to know it would be a great suggestion. However I was surprised to find this suggestion was not on the list.
Great site!

But who's A and who's B and so on? I dont see how random order doesn't work?

A is the first person on the list, B the second, and so forth...
I like the idea of adding more variations, as well.

Unless I'm missing something this suggestion just involves someone missing a turn every now and then.

They wouldn't miss the turn, their turn would just revolve, so eventually you would go at the end... No one would ever miss one...
ABCDE
BCDEA
CDEAB
DEABC
EABCD
ABCDE

Yea, but whoever is A would be screwed at the start of the game.

Still, it would add variety... Maybe not many people would use... Hell, I don't even think I would use it... But the more options you have, the less repetitive the gaming.

Winning never gets repetitive.

Well, bro, for the losers out there- cough, me, cough- it would be nice...
As I said, I doubt I would use it, but I love playing Devil's Advocate.

People would join it not knowing what it is and we would have enough questions/compliants to start a forum just for them...

That is basically what will happen. Rubbish idea. Forget about it.

So you're gonna bash people who come up with new ideas...?
I don't understand the negativity. The dude just was trying to contribute to a great site.

I'd have to agree, it may be interesting, but it would cause more confusion than we would want to handle.

And I have no problem with that... I merely had a problem with how briskly and rudely people brushed it off. We should all be more respectful of peoples suggestions.

Sorry, the more I think about it the better the suggestion sounds.
No turns are lost. Count them... ABCDE BCDEA = 2 turns each
What happens in sequential games is there is an unfair advantage to going first.
I want to remove that advantage. With Stepped Order everyone gets to go first.
If you don't want to play a game like that you don't have to choose it as an option.

I think you've got it backward! In going first in Sequential, most always, you don't have an advantage. There is a little more risk in trying to get a card. Say if you are the Fourth to go, there is most likely going to be an easy card somewhere.
