stop deploying

I played several maps where any player only deployed his units at the same territory several times ( it is baseless now if he before did any move or did it from start). I respect that everybody can has his strategy, but deploying units at the same territory is not funny and has nothing with CC idea, I think...

so my question is - is possible to code that player can deploy units at same territory only (for example) 3 times in row and than he must deploy them at another place? (ofcourse if he holds more territories)

maybe players could tell if they like strategy when anybody deploying his units at the same territory several times. so vote please.

moderators, sorry my bad englis, so feel free to edit my post/poll. thanks.

you are currently posting in Q&A but this sounds more like a suggestion. If you mean this post as a suggestion please start a post in the section suggestions or pm me and i'' take care of it for you.

As to your question, manual allows the player to place all his dice where he wants them to be placed without restriction. Automatic equaly divided all troops so everywhere there are 3. Currently there is no middle ground. As for manual games, it is often the best strategy to place all troops on one location, depending on drop and map ofcourse, but yes, that is how many players play manual.

as to it being or not being agianst cc spirit, i cannot follow your arguments.

as to battle tactics and generals. It is a standard rule that splitting up your forces you generally loose. The way to win is to split your opponents forces and then turn on the smaller parts and destroy them in turn. Then there is the blitz strategy that bypasses defence lines to strike to the heart of your enemy. So, stacking on one spot in fact does make sense.

my suggestion is that manual maps with a huge singe stack is more based on luck, who gets to attack first usually wins, because large stack vs large stack, the attacker usually wins. So i tend to avoid these type of maps and settings and i suggest you do the same. E.g. i dislike the freestyle wait tactics, so i do not play freestyle. I suggest you rethink the type of games you want to play and maybe make a similar decision

as to your post, ill move it to the right forum with a copy of this post.

thanks for your answer in topic. it will be great if you can take care about it and move it when it must be...

about spirit of CC. I much meant, do you think that if any general in past did only stay in one place and group here his armies without any initiative can he won battle?

I just not like this strategy - CC (for me) is for funny... what is funny on this strategy I do not know...
therefore I did maps based on auto-deploy units...

hi, and good luck.
